Extended Schools
Because Combs Infant School is a small school with limited space we are unable to offer the ‘wrap around’ care of early morning breakfast club. However, we do provide up to three after school clubs (French, ICT or Sports Skills and Basketball). There are many providers locally who will provide these extended services, some of which collect and drop children at school. Parent Partnership Derbyshire
Parent Partnership is a statutory service and exists to provide information, advice and support to parents/carers on special educational needs processes, fixed term and permanent exclusions as well as school choice/transition decisions. Parent partnerships can be viewed here.
Disability Equality Scheme [DES] and Accessibility Plan
The SEN and Disability Act 2001 extended the Disability Discrimination Act [DDA] 1995 [revised in 2005] to cover education. A policy and action plan showing how the school will address the priorities identified in the plan can be viewed here.
